Google Maps Navigation bald auch offline?
Mit der Google Maps Navigation steht Android Nutzern ein mächtiges und kostenloses Navigationssystem zur Verfügung. Ein Nachteil von Google Maps Navigation liegt bislang allerdings darin, dass für die Nutzung zwingend eines bestehende Internet-Verbindung vorhanden sein muss. Dies könnte sich allerdings bald ändern, wie die US-Website Engadget berichtet. Denn im Sommer soll eine neue Version von Google Maps Navigation erscheinen, die auch offline auf das Kartenmaterial zugreifen kann und den Nutzer somit auch ohne Internet-Verbindung jederzeit ans Ziel seiner Reise führt.
