Panasonic have announced a new 10 inch Android Tablet, setting itself apart from its competitor tablets with a strong and robust design. Thusly dubbed the Panasonic Toughbook, this new Android Tablet is particularly resistant to dust and water, which is helpful for those who wish to take the gadgets out and about with them. Panasonic however are yet to detail which version of Android the Toughbook will run on and other hardware specs the device will have. External USB-Port for Galaxy Tab 10.1

Samsung has announced that they will be releasing an external USB port for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 which connects to the normal 30-pin connector on the Android Tablet. Normally Honeycomb Tablets normally do not have no USB ports included, but with this new addition by Samsung users can now connect a USB mouse, keyboards and or printers.Category: Android Tablets, Samsung

Motorola Milestone 3 Specs and Pics?

More photos have recently surfaced on XDA.cn supposedly of the new Motorola Milestone 3 (see below) which has yet to be officially announced by Motorola. It is however safe to assume that Motorola will be planning on continuing their successful Milestone line so its not a far stretch to believe these pictures could be authentic. Specs have also recently surfaced with some believing that the new device will land with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera and be running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Samsung Galaxy S 3 Arriving 2012

As the Samsung Galaxy S 2 is slowly being released around the world ( for example next week it will launch in Australia), the first details about the Samsung Galaxy S 3 have started to pop up. The president of the communications devision from Samsung Mobile UK, JK Shin, has said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that the next generation of the Galaxy S series is schedueled for release in the first half of 2012. 1 Mill. Galaxy S2′s Sold in South Korea

In there home market of South Korea Samsung have sold in less than a month over 1 Million units of their new flagship smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S 2. As reported by SamsungHub just two weeks after it’s launch date the new device had already reached the 400,000 units sold mark. Galaxy Tab 10.1 to launch with Android 3.1

Samsung USA has confirmed what a a few emerging rumors had suspected and that is that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will launch with Android 3.1. Samsung posted the message only recently over their Twitter account. They also mentioned that the launch of the 10.1 inch tablet is now only a few days away,though this is probably just the U.S. market launch. But even so, this came as a surprise to many as Samsung originally stated the device was slated for a June release this year. Acer Delay Iconia Smart Launch until July

Acer have delayed the launch of their new smartphone the Iconia Smart back to possibly July of this year. The reason, is there seems to be supply problems of particular components that are provided by Japanese companies, due to the recent disaster that occured there. Not only that but Acer have had to already delay their 7-inch tablet the Acer Iconia Tab A100 to the latter half of 2011. According to Digitimes though, Acer intend to take time to better adapt Android 3.0 to their 7 inch tablet, seeing as Honeycomb was designed for Tablets with generally larger displays. HTC to Review Bootloader-Policy

HTC has recently come under fire after users found that some of their newer devices like the HTC Sensation and the HTC Evo 3D had locked bootloaders. Now as reported by Android Police, HTC have responded via Facebook to the compaints stating that they will review the bootloader policy they have put into place and assuring customers that issues they are having with their devices are not falling on deaf ears. The fact that they say they will review the policy is something but whether or not they actually do anything to change it is a completely different thing. ASUS teases new Tablet Smartphone?

On the 31.05 in Taipei, Taiwan the Computex convention is to be held, which is one of the largest computer trade shows in Asia. ASUS has recently posted up their first teaser of what they intend to show at the fair on their Facebook page, announcing the launch of a new Android tablet or smartphone, or possibly something between the two. Slashgear discovered pictures which may belong to the new said device from ASUS (see below), but these pictures could also just be from the new ASUS Eee Pad Transformer which was just recently released, we will leave it up to you to decide.Category: Android Phones, Android Tablets, ASUS

The Real Price of Amazon Tablets?

There have been more reports of late pointing towards Amazon working on two tablets (7 inch and 10 inch) under the working titles of Coyote and Hollywood. Which make sense after Amazon released there own App-Market as well as there eBook market which has been very successful. Reports have the 7-inch tablet having a price around $349 and the 10 inch version priced at $449.
