Galaxy 3 Specs Leaked?

Although the Samsung Galaxy S2 is still going strong there are now already hints towards the Galaxy S3. Phandroid has posted up a supposed snapshot of the next device from an internal presentation for retailers. There is also, speculative specs (we can only assume) also detailed in the snapshot, if this is indeed legitimate of course. They read as saying the device will come with a 4.6 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD-Display, 2GB RAM and a Exynos 1.8 GHz Dual Core Processor.Category: Android Phones, Samsung

Google TV: Europe Launch Early 2012

Eric Schmidt Google’s Executive Chairman was asked to speak at the keynote at the Edinburgh TV Festival last Friday speaking to those who attended on the future of Google TV. And as stated by Android Police was the first person outside the TV business to do so. He pointed out in his address that Google Tv will be launching early next year in Europe with the United Kingdom being a priority for the company.Category: Google

LTE Galaxy S 2 and Galaxy tab 8.9 Announced

Samsung have just recently announced that they will be unvieling the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the LTE Galaxy Tab 8.9 at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin this week. As reported by Engadget, rumors suggest that the devices will come packed with an upgraded dual-processor which is said to run at 1.5 GHz, however Samsung have yet to confirm that, so we will just have to wait and see the announcement at IFA this week from Samsung.Category: Android Tablets, Samsung

Toshiba to Announce new Tablet at IFA?

As the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin approaches more and more Android related announcements and rumors have began to float around. One of which being that Toshiba may be announcing a new tablet at the show over the next few days. This tablet would be the third Android Tablet in their Android line-up and the new Honeycomb Tablet seems to be much thinner than its predecessors which is always good (see images below). Sony S1 renamed Sony Tablet S

Sony have come out and announced that the production title for the Sony S1 will not be the working title of the new tablet and have renamed the device the Sony Tablet S. As reported by Engadget, the device is set to ship with a 9.4 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels and will come loaded with Android 3.1. The device will also come pre-installed with Sony’s media services Music Unlimited, Video Unlimited, Reader Store and of course come with the Playstation certified which will allow the device to play playstation 1 console titles as they become available to Android devices. There have also been rumors suggesting the device will be released early September 2011, but for now we will have to wait and see.Category: Android Phones, sony

Androidify Update brings New Summer Line

Andy is back again with a whole new bunch of content for Androidify, a whole line of summer clothes such as shirts, trousers and other accessories have all been added to the Androidify wardrobe in the recent update. For those not familiar with Androidify, it is a great little app which allows the user to create their very own Android avatars as seen in the picture below. U.S. Google Wallet Launch next Month?

Not long ago we took a look at Google Wallet, a service Google planned to introduce which took adavntage of Near Field Communication, to allow Android users to pay for things in stores with there phones. And now as reported by Engadget, a launch date may be set in the U.S. for a 1st of September release, however there have been suggestions the launch date could be later in September. New Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman Unvieled

Sony Ericsson has announced yet another smartphone to add to their Android line-up, the new Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman. The new device is unique in that it blends smartphone technology with Sony’s patened Walkman technology. It is said it will introduce new ways in discovering and sharing music with friends, with the device’s media player having better Facebook integration and it coming with Sony’s online media store Qriocity pre-installed. The smartphone itself will have a 1 GHz processor, Android 2.3, a 5.0 megapixel camera and a 3.2 inch TFT display.
