  • Rayman Jungle Run for Android on 20th of September

    Ubisoft Gaming fans definitely know the cuddly hero from one of his numerous appearances on Nintendo Gamecube, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii etc. On the 20th of September Rayman will celebrate his premiere on Android. Rayman Jungle Run is a 2D sidescroller Jump & Run, which represents the revival of the original series released by Ubisoft. There is a jungle fever spreading trailer giving an impression of what the game will be like to play on your phone or tablet.

  • Benchmark Values of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2

    Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Samsung presented its new smartphone-tablet hybrid Samsung Galaxy Note at the Internationale Funkausstellung, which ended two days ago. The Galaxy Note has an even faster processor (1.6 GHz Exynos Processor) in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy 3 (1.4 GHz Exynos Processor). The editors of the US website Engadget carried out a benchmark test with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The results show that the faster processor generates considerably faster benchmark values.

  • Four new colors for the Samsung Galaxy S 3

    Samsung Galaxy S 3 A while ago we reported that Samsung will present a red (Garnet Red) and a black (Sapphire Black) version of the Galaxy S 3. A press release now officially confirmed this. But this is not the end: the Samsung Galaxy S 3 will be available in two more colors: gray (Titanium Grey) and brown (Amber Brown). Whether mobile phone shops will provide all four colors remains unknown up to this point.

    Lenovo IdeaTab A2109Yesterday, Lenovo presented its new Android Tablet at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) in Berlin. Lenovo’s new tablet will feature Android’s 4.0 version (Ice Cream Sandwich), a 1,2 GHz Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor, and an aluminum body. The Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 will be suitable for gaming thanks to a MicroUSB and a MicroHDMI plug. The battery lasts for a stunning 10 hours according to Lenovo.   • Google Play Store now with Recommendation Feature

    Google PlayThe Google Play Store has been updated with a new feature. Users now receive app recommendations on the main page of the app. The recommendations are generated based on previously downloaded and installed apps. The same feature has already been implemented for the Google Play Store’s Books and Video sections. First tests see a promising new feature in which users can also help to discover new apps based on their interests. Suggested apps, which do not appeal to the user can be hidden at touch of a bottom.

    Huawei MediaPad 10 FHDAnd yes, there are news coming in again from Germany’s capital city where the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) takes place right now. Huawai just made a press release announcing the world wide sale of the Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD tablet commencing this September. The device will be equipped with a 10,1 inch Full HD resolution (1920×1080) screen, a 8,0 mega pixel camera (on the back of the device), Android’s 4.0 version (Ice Cream Sandwich), Dolby Surround Sound and LTE compatibility.   • Samsung presents its Samsung Galaxy Camera

    Samsung Two days ago, Samsung held one of its legendary Unpacked Events in Berlin’s Tempodrom. This time, Samsung revealed its Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to the public. But the talk of the evening was dedicated to another device: Samsung’s brand-new Galaxy Camera, a camera that takes beautiful pictures and features Android’s 4.1 version (Jelly Bean). On the back of the device you can find a 4,9 inch HD LCD Screen. Other gadgets are a 1,4 GHz Quad Core Processor, 8 GB of internal memory (can be extended to 32 GB by a MicroSD card). The camera has 16,0 mega pixels equipped with 21x optical zoom and a 23 mm wide angle lens.

Among many new exciting devices, Samsung officially announced that it will present its new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Samsung’s first tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note, has been an absolut hit: more than 10 million devices have been sold so far, the website Android Central (US) reports. Interestingly, Samsung had only sold 5 million devices just 4 months ago. The reason for this steep increase in sales is that the Galaxy Note only went on offer in the US in February 2012. Previously, it had only been available in Europe where it went on sale in 2011.

  • The Xperia SL has been officially announced

    Sony Xperia NXTSony officially announced the release of a new Android smartphone: the Sony Xperia SL, which is the direct successor of the Sony Xperia S. Besides its traditional colors black and white, the Samsung SL will be available in grey and pink. The screen size, on the other hand, will remain 4.3 inches. The phone will be equipped with a 12 mega pixel camera and 1,7 GHz Dual Core processor making the phone significantly faster, the US website Android Authority claims. The Xperia SL will feature Android’s 4.0 version (Ice Cream Sandwich).

It is therefore now surprise that ASUS has already begun to deliver its ASUS Transformer Pad 300 with the brand new Android version 4.1 (Jelly Bean). First country to enjoy the new version is the US, other country are supposed to follow soon after. Besides Jelly Bean, the update also features additional improvements for the pre-installed apps, the global search and the battery performance.
