    ASUS Eee Pad TransformerAfter the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer was sold out shortly after its release in the U.S. and the UK, the trend has continued further in other countries around the world as it’s has been released. It seems ASUS have had supply shortages for some components and can ship around 10,000 tablets per month. Certain componants are believed to be in limited supply as they are coming from Japan which has had plenty of problems themselves recently. And as reported by the website Netbooknews it is apparently just not possible for ASUS to obtain some components for the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer in greater numbers.

  • Galaxy Tab 10.1 to Launch in U.S. in June

    Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9Samsung has recently announced that their first Android 3.0 tablet the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be released on the 8th of June 2011 in the U.S. as for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 there is of yet no set release date. Reports also set the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to launch soon after the U.S. launch date in India, with it most likely falling sometime within July. it would seem likely that shortly after the tablet will be released in more countries throughout the world. More news as we hear it.

    HTC Wildfire SWhile the successor to the HTC Wildfire has been available in mainland Europe for a few days now, those in the UK will today be able to get their hands on the new HTC Wildfire S. The Wildfire S comes with a 3.2 inch display, 512 MB internal memory, 600 MHz processor and will run on Android 2.3.

    ASUS Eee Pad TransformerNot long ago the new Android tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer was launched in the UK and with the initial stocks selling out shortly after its launch. ASUS responded by announcing that demand for the tablet greatly surpassed their expectations and apoligised to buyers for the difficulties it may have caused. Not a week or so later the tablet launched in the U.S. with similar results yesterday, with initial stocks of the tablet running out on launch day. What seems like an incredibly successful launch may well by simply a shortage in stock on launch day in both the U.S. and the UK.

Comparing the rise of Android over the last 18 months he believes that Android will enjoy similar success with its tablets.   • HTC Flyer:Honeycomb shortly after Release

    HTC FlyerHTC has confirmed via their Twitter account that buyers of the new HTC Flyer will not have to wait long for the update to Android 3.0. A specific date has of yet to be announced, but reports from the website Eurodroid expect the update to arrive in May. The 7-inch tablet will launch with Android 2.3 and is set to arrive this coming May. In the past HTC have been one of the most reliable when it came to keeping their devices updated hopefully this continues with their new Android tablet.

    Archos 7 Home TabletArchos has released for most of the Android tablets a new firmware update. Those wondering the Archos 7 and the Archos 10.1 Internet Tablet are also included in the firmware update. This 90 MB update can be downloaded from the Archos website. The update to firmware version 2.3.20 will fix a number of errors and also bring a few new features. One such feature is to use a Android smartphone like a remote controller for your Archos tablet allowing to have the tablets set up on a table while they sit back and relax with smartphone in hand.

    Samsung Galaxy S 2Samsung has released the first commercial for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S2 on their YouTube channel. The cute little spot (see below) tries to show off how good the image quality of the new smartphone will have with its new Super AMOLED Plus display. We recommend you don’t do this with your phone at home when you get it. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is set to be released in this coming May.

  • Toshiba Tablet to Launch in 3 Versions

    Toshiba TabletOver the weekend another Toshiba Tablet price was leaked over the Internet, with it now seeming to be three different Toshiba Tablets to be released with different price tags. The only difference between the three versions seems to be the internal memory with it ranging from 8GB, 16GB and 32GB. In the U.S. the price tag for the 8GB version of the Toshiba Tablet is to be around $450, while the other two tablets are expected to be anywhere between $500 and $580. As for how much each will cost in other places around the world remains to be seen.

    Samsung Galaxy S 2While the world is impatiently waiting for the arrival of Samsung’s first dual-core smartphone, the website Samsung Hub has learned from source of theirs that Samsung plans to release a smartphone clocked at more than 2 GHz next year ni 2012. This would mean smartphones would rival some PCs out their for processing speed, but for now we will have to wait and be content with our 1.2GHz in the Samsung Galaxy S2, which is arriving in stores soon.
