Toshiba have released a video of their new Android Tablet which is supposed to run on Android 3.0 (see below). The device will also come powered with a Nvidia Tegra 2 Processor, plus HDMI and USB ports. The display size is to be 10.1 inches at 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, with a 5 megapixel rear facing camera which will be complemented by a 2-megapixel front facing camera. In the video, Toshiba couldn’t resist at taking a little jab at the Apple iPad, by declaring it had Flash support (which the iPad doesn’t have). But many of us still remember the Toshiba debut to Android Tablets with the Toshiba Folio 100, which really crashed and burned! With it having no access to the Android Market, a poor display and plenty of bugs. Hopefully Toshiba have learnt from this mistake. So far all seems well though, lets hope history doesn’t repeat itself. More news is expected at the Mobile World Congress next month.
