Acer finally commented on the new Android update for its tablet fleet. Thereby, Acer will be updating to Android’s 4.1 version (Jelly Bean), the website Tablet-News reported. Acer’s statement however, was everything but eye-opening. They said there will be updates but didn’t give any hints as to any specific models. Yet, it’s more likely that the Acer Iconia Tab A510, the Acer Iconia Tab A700, and the Acer Iconia Tab A200 will receive an update to Android’s 4.1 version (Jelly Bean) first. The reason is that they’re simply the newer generation. On the other hand, the Acer Iconia Tab A500 and the Acer Iconia Tab A100 are less probable to be updated.
