Not long ago the new Android tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer was launched in the UK and with the initial stocks selling out shortly after its launch. ASUS responded by announcing that demand for the tablet greatly surpassed their expectations and apoligised to buyers for the difficulties it may have caused. Not a week or so later the tablet launched in the U.S. with similar results yesterday, with initial stocks of the tablet running out on launch day. What seems like an incredibly successful launch may well by simply a shortage in stock on launch day in both the U.S. and the UK.
