Over the last few days there have been reports that Amazon has secured various domains with the name Scratchpad. Several U.S. websites like the Business Insider suspected Amazon would be releasing a new tablet under the same name to compete with the iPad2 and Android Tablets. However these rumors have now been squashed after these new domains were linked to the initials MWS ( Marketplace Web Service). Several sites have now pointed out that Scratchpad apps have been a part of the Amazons Marketplace Web Service for a while now. All the buzz around a Tablet from Amazon hasn’t died down though with plenty expecting to see them release one soon.
