A first glance at the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will probably leave most people impressed as it is a sleek looking smartphone. And even today, a few months later, it still stands out from the pack appearance wise. But apart from its sleek exterior, it was not long ago updated to Android 2.1 (Eclair) and now operates much better than it did previously. It also has a relatively long battery life and a good configuration. But the question still remains whether it will recieve Android 2.2 (Froyo) in the future. One could argue against buying the Xperia X8 solely because it doesnt have some of the beloved features of Android 2.2. But on the other hand, those of you out there looking for a cool looking phone for a decent price and aren’t to worried about getting all of the new fancy features. Then you really carn’t go wrong with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8.
