Sony officially announced the release of a new Android smartphone: the Sony Xperia SL, which is the direct successor of the Sony Xperia S. Besides its traditional colors black and white, the Samsung SL will be available in grey and pink. The screen size, on the other hand, will remain 4.3 inches. The phone will be equipped with a 12 mega pixel camera and 1,7 GHz Dual Core processor making the phone significantly faster, the US website Android Authority claims. The Xperia SL will feature Android’s 4.0 version (Ice Cream Sandwich).
