Bad news for users of two LG Android smartphones: Last week, news came out that there would be no Android 4.0 update (Ice Cream Sandwich) for the LG Optimus Speed. Now, the website Phonearena cited a tweet by LG Canada stating that the LG Optimus Black would also not receive an update. It seems as if both LGs have stagnated in Android’s 2.3 version (Gingerbread). We shall see whether an unofficial update will appear on the internet. This might be interesting alternative for the adventurous among you.
