Bad news for owners of the Motorola Flipout in that Motorola will not be updating the device to any newer versions of the Android OS. Users of the little flamboyant little phone will be have to make do with Android 2.1 (Eclair). But hopefully we see Motorola keeping their smartphones more up to date with their next generation of smartphones such as the Motorola Cliq 2 and the Motorola Atrix.
