LG released a little while ago the world’s first dual core Android smartphone, the LG Optimus 2x, with it hitting the markets hard in South Korea where it was first released, selling more than 250,000  units in the first month alone. According to UK the distributor, pent up demand for the LG Optimus 2x was so high they sold out on launch day. Not to shabby for a brand who has been struggling to keep up with some of its competition such as Samsung and HTC. Hopefully these numbers increase as the smartphone is rolled out to other countries, with the India and U.S. launch imminent.
