LG has announced another Android smartphone for release in Europe, Central America and South America, the Optimus Sol. The Optimus Sol is said to be a mid-range smartphone with a 3.8 inch WVGA display with Ultra AMOLED-Technology, a 1 GHz processor and a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus. In addition the LG Optimus Sol, as reported by GottaBeMobile, will make use of new power managment tools which will help the battery last 20-30% longer.
