An online platform published 13.000 signatures of disappointed HTC Desire HD users who waited in vain on an update to Android’s 4.0 version (Ice Cream Sandwich). According to the website AreaMobile, HTC made a statement concerning the reasons for the drawback of a newer version. So what’s the problem? HTC say that the HTC Desire HD’s system partition is too small in order to install a software without having to cancel a few very popular features. All in all there would have been a serious decrease in performance with Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. And that really shouldn’t be the purpose, right?
