It is finally here. Over the last few days rumours had been circulating that the new Android 2.3 update would be released very soon and then less than 24 hours after the rumors started,boom!  Android 2.3 landed. The new version promises many improvements to areas such as gaming with Android devices, bringing improved keyboard operation, improved power and task managment. Also new features as Internet phone calls and Near Field Communication, which enables users to use their Android device to pay for things. A video posted online by Google goes briefly over some of the features introduced in Android 2.3.
