Google has just released new figures in early November for the usage of the various versions of Android. According to the figures, about 36.2% of all smart phones and tablets run on the current version of Android 2.2 also known as Froyo. The number of users currently using Froyo are only slightly behind the version 2.1 which currently about 40% of users currently use. However the number of users for older versions for instance 1.5 or 1.6 are quickly droping, gradually disappearing.
