At the Mobile World Congress 2011, Sony Ericsson unveiled the first “Playstation-certified” Android phone, the Sony Xperia Play. The Xperia Play dubbed by many the Playstation Phone with the slide out playstation-like control, with the L1 and R1 shoulder buttons, the four playstation buttons, control pad and touch analog pads can really be put to good use with the right games.

On launch there will be 50 different games available through the Android Market which will be available for the Xperia PLAY, later this year. Several developers have announced that they will be supporting Xperia players such as Sony Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai, Gameloft and Fishlabs Entertainment.
