EA Mobile the mobile division of the well known game developer Electronic Arts, (or EA) has brought some of their most well-known franchises to Android devices such as FIFA, The Sims and Need for Speed. With the continued success of Android hopefully we can expect even more big names being released onto Android in the future. But for now here are the titles of the games EA Mobile have published for Android so far:


Bejeweled 2 by EA In this puzzle game the player has to allign three identical gems together in a row horizontally or vertically to get rid of them, continiuing on until all the gems are gone from the screen. The premis is simple but watch out Bejeweled 2 can become very addicting.


The Game of Life The well-known board game The Game of Life has made the transition well to Android. Up to four players can compete simultaneously in this game to see who can make the most money or accumalte the most life cards. The player is awarded life cards for their life experiences during the game such as getting married or having kids. Just like the original board game, anyone can enjoy it.

FIFA 10 by EA Sports FIFA 10 is the King of Football games on Android smartphones and tablets. Only the FIFA series has licenses for all the real clubs, players and leagues. Players can choose whether to compete in international tournaments or cup competitions. Or they can jump right in and live the life of a professional football player and play the “Be a Pro” mode, creating a football player and living through the ups and downs of his entire career.


Madden NFL 11 2011 is the year the most popular American football series for consoles makes its way to Android. Madden NFL 2011 has been specifically adapted for touchscreens, and brings to the tablet all 32 teams and more than 300 players from the current season. Show off your skills in 32 different stadiums as you go through the football season with your favourite team.


Monopoly One of the most famous classic board games of all time has arrived to Android at last. Up to four people can play, all trying to get the best property and build up their real estate to get the big bucks. This fun little game has been well adapted to the touchscreen controls and much like the classic board game itself is fun for all ages.

Need for Speed: Shift When people think of racing games one particular gaming series that normally comes to mind is Need for Speed. It’s been around for a while and has definitly ground out its place as one of the best racing game series around. Need for Speed: Shift is the first title of the series to hit Android, allowing players to drive one of twenty dream cars, choosing from the likes of the BMW M3 GT2, Lamborghini Gallado or the Pagani Zonda. There are 18 different tracks to race on providing plenty of different tracks to show off your stuff. And to help keep it challenging for those hardcore drivers out there, there are three different difficulty levels to test your metal.


Tetris Tetris is a classic and is one of the most popular games in history, not to mention probably the msot popular game released onto Android devices. Millions of people over the years have tested themselves at this game whether it be in a arcade, on a game console or PC but now the coloured blocks have hit Android. Tetris for Android will allow many people all over the world to relive on a classic on the go, whilst also enjoying a few extra touches with various game modes that have also been thrown in the mix.


The Sims 3 One of the most successful game series in recent years, is the Sims. The Sims series makes its deput onto Android with its recent big hit The Sims 3. The player must control his or her Sim through its day to day life, making friends, working around the house and sending them to work. The 3D world has transitioned well to Android, ensuring there is plenty to do for anyone and having lots of fun along the way.


Worms The classic worms have landed on Android! And their as feisty as ever! Fight with your team of worms on multiple different levels with all of the classic weapons such as the banana grenade, bazooka, air strike or the flying sheep. This version of the great turn based game has as much oomph as the classics of old.
