Only ten days after the release of the new Angry Birds Rio smartphone game, the developers Rovio have taken out a new record with their incredibly addictive game having been downloaded more than 10 million times across all systems. The original Angry Birds game recently hit the 100 millionth download mark but that itself took over 16 months. It seems the Angry Birds series is still steamrolling its way to continued success. The new Angry Birds Rio was originally only available through the Amazon Appstore, but is now available to download for free from the Android Market. The figures are as reported by the U.S. magazine, Venturebeat.
