Yahoo have just recently announced that they will be launching a new digital news stand service called Livestand for Android tablets and iPads. The new service will provides users with news that suits their interests. At first the service will be drawing upon articles mostly from the news, sports and finance websites that Yahoo already own, but later on Yahoo hopes to draw in other publishers. Livestand is expected to launch in the first half of 2011.
