A while ago we reported that Google was working on providing Smart App Updates for the Google Play Store. With these updates, it is no longer necessary to download an entire new app but only the missing new parts of it. This function is now online and significantly reduces the data transfer amount. The US website Android Police recently uploaded a video demonstration showing how the new feature can be used with the help of the PDF-app eZ PDF Reader.
